SlimeBox lets user view images with the mootools-based slimbox-based slimebox By m0n5t3r.
The original plugin was created by m0n5t3r. Who has kinda dissapeared.
m0n5t3r created few plugins such as:
- Inline Gallery
- WP Moon – integrating moontools into WP
- WP Slimebox
I haven’t actually created anything myself hence only taking credit in combining the WP-Moon and the WP-SlimeBox into WP-SlimeBox 1.1
I have edited the script a little so that WP users dont need to install moontools, as it is already included in the script.
It took me a while to combine the two since I am no guru in scripting or php, but some examples from the web hepled heaps.
This Plugin ovelays the picture using the java script, it actually resizes the picture to fit the screen too.
To use WP-SlimeBox you have to extract the contents of the plugin into your wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Then activate the plugin by going into Admin Area of your WordPress Install, Plugins Section.
To use the plugin all you have to do is link an image <a href=”http://andriy.ws/wp-content/images/IMG_0270__Large_.jpg” rel=”lightbox”>SAMPLE </a>
So all you do is add rel=”lightbox” to the code and click on the link below.
